Groups, views, and reporting

Yukon offers several ways to organize records without changing the records themselves.

Groups

A group contains either contacts or organizations. It cannot mix the two. Membership is selected through server search and does not alter the underlying CRM record. Use groups for a purposeful audience or working set; use fields and filters when the distinction is a durable record attribute.

Saved views

On supported lists and pipelines, save a useful arrangement as a view. Depending on the surface, that arrangement can include filters, sorting, columns, ownership scope, or another supported control. Give it a name that describes the work, such as “Renewals this quarter,” rather than the mechanics.

Dashboards

Home can provide personal, team, and shared dashboards according to your access. You may be able to choose a default, refresh a dashboard, duplicate it, edit its layout, or add components and reports. Dashboard editing is available at desktop-sized widths; use a larger screen when the editing actions are not shown.

Reports

The Reports catalog contains only reports your account can open. A report can provide filters and table or chart output. Refresh it after changing filters; do not infer a company-wide total from a list page or partial export.

Note

Report results, dashboard choices, and available actions are permission-aware. Two users can legitimately see different totals or catalogs.
